AO: SECTOR MONTANA
ASSETS: BRUISER 1, APOLLO 1, BROADSWORD 1
GRID: Multiple locations
At approximately 1400 on April 18 the Afghanistan Guard attacked multiple positions along the Southern Front, destroying every major coalition installation in their path. We have been pushed back to Rasman where our artillery and CAS have provided a shield against enemy armor.
In Sector Montana, a rebel group known as the Afghan Liberation Group (ALG) have setup large roadblocks to stop the heavy tanks from rolling through. As of now they are still successfully holding the Guard back. We will be moving into the town of Nagara to meet with the ALG leader, Mullah Mohammad Fazi.
With the support of the local rebels we will be able to conduct operations in Sector Michigan to destroy the armor that is held up behind the roadblocks.
We intended to conduct a joint operation with the ANA, but they are refusing to work with us in the wake of their KIA by a US Special Forces operator. As a result, we will be forced to conduct this operation with our new ALG assets.
Task Force Bruiser will parachute 2 miles behind the line and move 1.5 miles to a forward enemy camp where Mufti Noor Wali, Afghan Guard field general, is organizing the entire assault. Our mission will be twofold.
Phase 1 will be to place explosive charges along the main egress route in the region. At 0200 we will drop behind the line and move to the designated route. By 0240 the route must be fully mined and prepped for ambush.
During Phase 2 we will infiltrate the enemy camp, locate Wali, and kill him. This objective will need to be completed at exactly 0330 to ensure we are coordinated with our ALG coalition. At 0330 ALG forces will begin their attack across the main roadblocks and, if they are successful, they will force the enemy armor to withdraw directly into our mines.
